Curriculum Musicorum Vitae

for Ray Lambert

Ray Lambert is a guitarist currently living in the Metrowest area of Boston (MA). He has been playing guitar since the late 1970's and gigging since the early 1980's. Ray has performed both covers and originals, for large audiences and small, playing in both large theaters and tiny clubs as well as some of New England's most legendary venues such as The Channel (Boston), The Middle East (Cambridge), The Living Room (Providence) and the original Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel (Providence). Ray has also recorded original works in various studio environments, including both commercial and basement studios. He has a large selection of professional equipment including Marshall amps and guitars by Gibson, Fender and PRS.

Recording Work

1985, Celebration Sounds, Pawtucket, RI – Recorded original songs with Blue Movie for four-song EP. Produced 500 copies which were distributed for promotional purposes. Lead track, Walking On Air, received some regional airplay on local college stations and the local music show on WHJY.
1987, Blackbeard Studios, Lincoln, RI – Recorded three original songs with Blue Movie which were used for promotional purposes. One song was produced by famed Portuguese musician/producer José Cid whom the band was introduced to by a mutual friend.
Other – Co-wrote and recorded numerous songs with friend & partner from Blue Movie, Rick Couture, in various basement studios as well as home recording set-ups. Most were for his band Amen Alibi.
